Indonesians travelling abroad

For Indonesian passport holders: where to check visa rules, how to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and who to call if something goes wrong overseas.

Check the visa rules for your destination

ASEAN countries let Indonesians visit visa-free for short stays (usually 14-30 days, check each country). Many other countries need an e-visa or an embassy visa. Start with the Passport Index checker, then confirm on the destination's official immigration site (links on our ASEAN and Worldwide pages).

Register and get help overseas: Peduli WNI

Peduli WNI is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal for Indonesians abroad: register your trip (lapor diri), find your nearest embassy or consulate, and ask for help in an emergency (lost passport, accident, arrest, natural disaster). Save your embassy's emergency number before you go.

Passport and documents

Renew your passport if it has less than 6 months left. Carry copies of your passport, tickets and hotel bookings. Check whether your destination needs proof of onward travel, travel insurance, or a yellow-fever certificate (for some countries).

Rules, fees and websites change often. We check these pages regularly (last check: 10 October 2026) but always confirm on the official site before you travel. Satu Koneksi Hotel is not responsible for third-party websites.
