Entry
Sources say Indonesian citizens need a visa for Armenia, either an e-Visa applied for online (reported fee about USD 8-38, up to 3 working days, stay reported from 21 to 120 days) or a visa on arrival at the airport and border points - the sources disagree, so confirm with the Armenian foreign ministry before you book. The official e-Visa portal is at evisa.mfa.am (we could not open it from our side, so type the address yourself and avoid copycat sites). Bring a passport valid for 6 months, a return ticket and hotel details.

Culture and safety - take note
Armenia is one of the world's oldest Christian nations and proud of its history. In churches and monasteries cover shoulders and knees, men remove hats, and women may cover their hair - follow the signs. Hospitality is important: toasts at the table are a ritual, so sip slowly. Be respectful about the Armenian genocide when visiting the memorial in Yerevan. Avoid political topics about neighbouring countries. The land borders with Azerbaijan and Turkey are closed, and areas near them can be sensitive - check Kemlu and other advisories and keep to main roads. Do not photograph military sites. Mountain roads can be slow and icy in winter. Halal food is limited outside Yerevan.
