Entry
Indonesian citizens generally need a visa for Kuwait - a few travel sites claim visa-free entry, but others and Kuwaiti press say a visit visa and health insurance are required. Check the Ministry of Interior's official visa portal (an online visit visa may be available) or the Kuwaiti embassy in Jakarta for the current rules, fees (reported around KD 10 per month) and insurance requirement. Use only the official site. Bring a passport valid for 6 months, a return ticket and hotel details.
Culture and laws - take note
Kuwait is a conservative Muslim country with strict laws. ALCOHOL IS BANNED - do not bring any, and do not carry drugs. Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered; loose clothes). During Ramadan do not eat, drink or smoke in public in daylight. Do not criticise the ruling family or religion, and do not photograph government or military sites or people without permission; drones need a permit. The weekend is Friday-Saturday. Summers are extremely hot (above 45 C) - go in winter. Halal food everywhere.
Emergency
112 for police, ambulance and fire.
